Information Systems Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manages Information Systems personnel.
• Led or assists in planning, implementing, and introducing new systems and technologies.
• Identifies existing skills, roles, and responsibilities of each employee.
• Prioritizes projects, sets timelines, and holds regular meetings.
• Leads planning and/or implementation of select projects.
• May participate in the design and/or testing phases.
• Presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Three years of experience in complex systems design, programming, and systems software and support.
• Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems.
• Knowledge of current equipment and technologies in use.
• Unix system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.
• Oracle and MS SQL database administration.
• Effective project management techniques.
• Principles and practices of effective management and supervision.
