Responsibilities
- Manages Information Systems personnel.
- Led or assists in planning, implementing, and introducing new systems and technologies.
- Identifies existing skills, roles, and responsibilities of each employee.
- Prioritizes projects, sets timelines, and holds regular meetings.
- Leads planning and/or implementation of select projects.
- May participate in the design and/or testing phases.
- Presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Three years of experience in complex systems design, programming, and systems software and support.
- Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems.
- Knowledge of current equipment and technologies in use.
- Unix system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.
- Oracle and MS SQL database administration.
- Effective project management techniques.
- Principles and practices of effective management and supervision.
