About the role

The Information Systems Specialist 5 position involves providing technical support and administration for all desktops and technology systems across the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Additionally, you will provide secondary support for servers and networks, serving as the front line of customer service to staff throughout the agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and administration for all desktops and technology systems across the department.
• Provide secondary support for servers and networks.
• Work with other IT staff to resolve customer issues and needs.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of information systems experience in Desktop Support.
• An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND Two (2) years of information systems experience in Desktop Support.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience providing technical support for cellular technologies.
• Proficiency in desktop administration.
• Experience providing Windows desktop support remotely.
• Outstanding customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

Pay

$5,779 - $8,738

Schedule

This position has the potential for hybrid-remote work; however, travel expenses to Salem for required in-person duties are not reimbursed.
