Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Abacus Technology is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support security and information assurance activities for Hanscom AFB.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain customer organization information assurance (IA) program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure servers, workstation applications, peripherals, communications devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured for network operation, on-line, and are available to users.
• Assist the Primary Property Custodian in performing asset management responsibilities.
• Assist with compliance of local ECO and DoD requirements, training, and use of approved tracking tools/databases/SharePoint sites.
• Ensure customer organization compliance with government, Air Force, and local policies and regulation for hardware asset management.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in information security.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Must be Security+ CE certified.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions.
• Able to work dynamically and effectively with people on projects (formal and informal) and conduct technical interchanges as required.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.
• Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
