Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining, and overseeing the system security program and policies.
- Ensuring compliance with current cyber security policies, concepts, and measures when designing, procuring, adopting, and developing a new system.
- Overseeing the ISSO under their purview to ensure they follow established system policies and procedures.
- Preparing, implementing and submitting Information System Security Plans and Protection Profiles using eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services).
- Working closely with local DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency) Representatives and government Information System Security Professionals (ISSP) to achieve system accreditation and maintain compliance in accordance with NISPOM & customers.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and computer security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in system security plans.
- Providing technical and user support for numerous standalone and network systems.
- Preparing materials for computer security education/awareness programs.
- Conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management.
- Directing ISSO’s under their purview to ensure they follow established system policies and procedures.
- Working as System Administrator: Microsoft Windows.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- DOD Secret Security Clearance at time of hire.
- 10+ years of experience in an industrial security program, and knowledge of the DoD or other government security regulatory manuals.
- 5 + years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and assignments.
- 5 + years of experience working with RMF processes by 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 117 (National Industrial Security Program) & In-depth knowledge of DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG).
