Required Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Digital Forensics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.

Alternate Experience

Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions for information systems
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate security measures into systems

Required Skills

• Proficiency in security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
• Strong understanding of encryption technologies
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) practices
• Expertise in threat detection and mitigation strategies

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud security models (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of network security protocols and architecture
• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
• Proficiency in security automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• Experience with risk management frameworks and security audits
