Information Systems Security Engineer II (ISSE)

Position Overview TAP Engineering is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. Key Responsibilities Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsParticipate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of IA architecture(s), systems, or system componentsParticipate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsApply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environmentsInteract with the customer and other project team membersParticipate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system componentsSupport the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architecturesSupport security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk managementIdentify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraphU.S. citizenship requiredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 12 years of ISSE experience, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degreeDoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 212 years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, to include recent experience within the last 5 years with cybersecurity principles and technology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, and network and enterprise security architecture Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - 165,000, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors. The compensation range provided is a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Clearance Requirement This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with appropriate polygraph. Clearance processing and maintenance will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Government requirements.
