Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information system security policies, particularly for SAP network infrastructures.
- Conduct RMF-based network security analysis, emphasizing JSIG authorization.
- Provide expert-level support, research, and analysis for complex cybersecurity problems.
- Serve as a technical expert for the Cybersecurity Assessment Program.
- Contribute to the development of new cybersecurity principles and methodologies.
- Recommend and assist in the selection of cybersecurity software tools.
- Lead technical teams in security implementation.
- Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements.
- Support ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college and 4 years of experience is required. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Must possess a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification.
- Strong background in patch/configuration management, scripting / DevOps, and Tier 3 support.
- Expert knowledge of DoD, National, and applicable security policies.
- Experience using various IA tools in audit collection, audit review, audit management, and end point protection (ACAS, HBSS, McAfee ePO, ENS, DLP).
- Experience with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 or DCID 6/3, or knowledge of current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD is desired.
- Experience with security efforts related to modern Windows, Linux, UNIX, Cisco, SQL or Oracle databases, and virtualized systems.
Qualifications
- Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility).
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
