Information Systems Security Designer 3 (Part-time) with Security Clearance
About the role
Advise customers in defining information system security requirements and functionality by designing system architecture, developing security designs, and assessing the effectiveness of security solutions against present and projected threats.
Employ systems engineering and systems security engineering principles and processes along with knowledge of the customer's “problem space” and available products and practices (the “solution space”).
Advises customers on implementing solutions by planning, training, and installing/configuring.
Produces formal and informal reports, briefings, and direct input to the customer regarding security and functionality requirements, system architecture, and security designs.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience.
- Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
Skills
- Understand STE/STN requirements and have experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 to include the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with Defense-In-Depth principles, networks and enterprise security architecture.

Hourly pay range: $64.30 - $123.86 per hour.
