Information Security Specialist I

About the role

Protect information assets through cyber security solutions, policies and procedures, and compliance management. This role involves monitoring systems, managing remediation of vulnerabilities, incident response, and raising security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system for abnormalities and data leakage
• Conduct gap analysis to remediate deficiencies and improve security operations
• Respond to data leakage and security incidents
• Create, update, and enforce policies and standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific security regulations (KNCT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Support ISO certification/renewal
• Support information security awareness improvement for all North America locations
• Conduct site audits for compliance
• Create and conduct awareness-raising trainings
• Perform security review for new devices and/or solutions
• Lead and/or support implementation of cyber security equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
• 0-3 years of Information security experience in a corporate setting

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cyber security systems, technologies, and architecture
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and interpret security data
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new systems and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English; Korean fluency optional
• Relevant certification (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, etc.) optional
