Information Security Representative

Responsibilities

• Represent the Electric Boat Security Department at the BAE Focus Factory and provide support as needed at other Focus Factory locations.
• Work directly with the Focus Factory Security Lead and Electric Boat personnel located in Philadelphia, PA.
• Frequently interface with Operations, SUPSHIP, RPCO, NRRO, Program Office and Contractor/Vendor Staff.
• Support responsibilities specific to providing security expertise, guidance and support including: verification of security controls, develop and implement process improvement initiatives, administer security education/awareness training and ensure compliance with current security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of security work experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance from the DoD (Department of Defense).
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience or working knowledge of the compliance requirements of the NISPOM, the EB Security Manual, and other applicable guidance sources.
• Experience conducting inspections or audits and presenting the results.
• Experience administering security education and awareness training.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and practice.
• Familiarity with the Electric Boat shipyard and production operations.
