Information Security Manager for IAM Operations
About the role
The Risk Group's mission is to help the Bank achieve its goals while managing risks within the Bank's risk tolerance and strengthening the risk culture. The Group's role is to serve as the Bank's second line of defense to ensure effective risk management. We do this by performing independent assessment and oversight of the Bank's risks.
Responsibilities
- Guide team efforts for daily and BAU (business as usual) IAM operations
- Lead the team through standardization of IAM processes across business areas and in-line with system processes
- Lead and contribute in the strategic initiatives either local to the bank or with the system IT partners to standardize and enhance IAM operations to help reduce cyber risks and build an environment on latest Industry standard processes
- Lead the team on identifying and remediating IAM risks in current processes
- Lead the team to increase identification, reporting and remediation of IAM policies and standards across the business areas
- Mature KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to track program maturity
- Collaborate with management on capacity management and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate on enhancing Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) to include IAM lifecycle events with FRS supported Identity providers to increase access standardization across the Bank
- Collaborate with system on implementation of IAM controls for AI deployment and usage
Requirements
Salary Range: $136,000 –$ 240,000
We believe in transparency at the New York Fed. This salary range reflects a variety of skills and experiences candidates may bring to the job. We pay individuals along this range based on their unique backgrounds.
This position may require access to confidential supervisory information (CSI) and/or Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) information. Access to CSI and FOMC information is limited to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, individuals who meet the definition of “protected individual” under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), and certain other nonimmigrants.
All non-U.S. citizens authorized to access CSI and/or FOMC information must sign a declaration of intent to expeditiously become a lawful permanent resident and thereafter a U.S. citizen when eligible.
This position requires a National Security Clearance, access to which is limited to U.S. Citizens.
