Information Security Manager

The role involves providing operational and tactical leadership for a cybersecurity team within the Information Security department. Responsibilities include translating security strategies, risk policies, and standards into effective daily operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong security culture. As SOC Manager, Night Shift, the focus is on managing the Cybersecurity Operations Center during overnight hours, overseeing incident response, monitoring, workforce supervision, and operational execution. The position requires leading analysts, managing staffing, ensuring adherence to procedures, and improving service delivery using performance metrics like MTTD, MTTR, and detection effectiveness. The manager collaborates with detection engineering and SOAR teams to enhance detection capabilities, workflows, and operational processes. The role demands a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree with 6+ years, along with leadership experience. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, OSCP are required. It is an exempt position with a full-time schedule, working primarily overnight shifts, including one weekend float day. Candidates must be located within 100 miles of specified campuses and be eligible to work without sponsorship.
