About the role

Designs, implements, and manages policies and procedures to ensure database and software security. Applies advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.

Responsibilities

  • Writes Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures
  • Performs design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Mentors and may supervise team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in writing Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures
  • 7+ years of experience in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system
  • Knowledge of implementing Configuration Management process in DevSecOps Agile development environment
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as JIRA, puppet, Confluence, or Git Hub and scripting
  • TS/SCI clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • Nice if you have: Experience designing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures to ensure database and software security
  • Experience assessing information systems to determine risk exposures and develops prevention procedures and policies
  • AR 25-2 Information Assurance (IA) Certification

Skills

  • Advanced advisory skills or extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge

  • Ability to mentor and supervise team members

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
