Information Security Analyst – Web & Email Security (WES)

Contract position (12 months with extension) located in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer web and email security technologies (secure web gateways, proxies, content filtering, email security controls, CASB, cloud monitoring tools).
• Analyze security events, alerts, and trends to identify risks, policy violations, or operational concerns.
• Investigate incidents related to web access, email security, SaaS application usage, and policy exceptions.
• Execute and validate key security controls in line with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic reviews of proxy policies, email rules, entitlements, and filtering configurations.

Requirements

• Experience in information security, cybersecurity operations, or risk management.
• Knowledge of web, email, SaaS, or cloud security concepts.
• Experience analyzing security events, logs, and operational data.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and risk management practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and security metrics.

Pay

Between $50 - $55 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
