Information Security Analyst - SME

About the role

Watershed Security, a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years' cybersecurity and government contracting experience, is seeking an Information Security Analyst SME to plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. This role may also involve ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure, and responding to computer security breaches and viruses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for computer networks and information
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses
• Work onsite at Navy Naval Base, Norfolk, VA, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience
• Must hold one of the following certifications: CCISO, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CySA+, GSLC, GSNA, ISSEP
• Typically 7 years of lead experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401K plans with matching, 15 days of PTO to start, and 11 paid holidays per year. The proposed salary range for this position is: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD.
