The Information Security Analyst administers, monitors, and supports corporate information security systems. This position helps protect Bank systems and data by monitoring security tools, triaging alerts, supporting incident response, maintaining access and security platforms, and recommending improvements to Information Security operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts across multiple security solutions.
- Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts from intrusion detection/prevention, firewall, SIEM, endpoint, and other information security solutions.
- Manage log analysis systems and document alert triage, investigation steps, and disposition.
- Monitor patching and vulnerability management solutions and generate reports as assigned.
- Support incident management activities and maintain proper chain of custody for relevant evidence.
- Manage VPN solutions and generate reports as assigned.
- Recommend ways to improve the efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of Information Security operations.
- Provide technical support to internal teams as necessary.
