Information Security Analyst
GDIT is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our National Institutes of Health (NIH) CIT Hosting and Storage Services Program. About the role
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on customer site in Bethesda, MD. The role requires obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust (NACI/T1) clearance, including onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, and other adjudications.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine scanning and ticket support
- Documents findings and tracks remediation actions
- Supports incident response activities
- Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, networks, databases, and web-based security
- Safeguards the network against unauthorized infiltration, modification, destruction, or disclosure
- Researches, evaluates, tests, and implements new security software or devices
Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years in security operations support
- Experience with scanning and incident ticketing
- Skilled in updating security documentation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting Federal programs

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $83,300 - $112,700. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
