Information Assurance Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products.
• Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.

Requirements

• Level 2: Six (6) years of experience as a HDE in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design is required; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required; Four (4) years of additional hardware design engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Level 3: Ten (10) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
• Level 4: Fifteen (15) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 2 years of experience and a PHD in Engineering or Computer Science may be used to substitute 4 years of experience.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.

Pay

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00. Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
