Information Assurance Specialist - III
Responsibilities
Affirms security controls per NIST SP 800-53 and the Cybersecurity Framework.
Applies control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process.
Researches, writes, and submits complete A&A packages for new system authorizations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years network operations and information security; Assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles (NIST SP 800-53, Cybersecurity Framework); In-depth understanding of NIST Security Controls and control implementation methodologies to the SA&SA process; Relevant DoD/DHS/.gov cybersecurity/IA experience with current hands-on researching, writing, and submitting complete A&A documentation packages for new system authorizations.
Certification: Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT III/IAM II requirements. (IAT III - CASP+, SecurityX, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, or GCIH) (IAM II - SecurityX, CISSP, CAP/CGRC, CISM, GSLC, or CCISO)

Security Clearance: Secret (active and current)
Skills
