Informatica MDM & Data Governance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
• Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures and identify specific input and output requirements.
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine the feasibility of requested program changes.

Requirements

• Years Required/Preferred: 10 Required
• Experience using Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360. 10 Required
• Experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations. 10 Required
• Experience with Informatica MDM is preferred. 10 Required
• Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ. 4 Preferred
• Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake. 4 Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field. 2 Preferred
• Equivalent work experience can be substituted. 2 Preferred
• Master's degree or 6+ years of experience is preferred. 2 Preferred
• Experience in healthcare or Public Health preferred. 2 Preferred
• Experience at a state agency preferred. 2 Preferred
• Experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs. 2 Preferred
