Informatica IICS ETL Developer

About the role

Individual should be able to demonstrate technical and analytical skill in developing complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. Create data mapping to ingest data from disparate data sources ranging from flat files to RDBMS, Hive, or REST APIs. Responsible for developing Unix scripting. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate with a distributed team. Regular task status updates to management are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
• Create data mappings for ingestion from flat files, RDBMS, Hive, or REST APIs
• Develop Unix scripting
• Develop test cases and perform unit testing
• Interact and coordinate with a distributed team
• Provide regular task status updates to management

Requirements

• Technically strong in Informatica PowerCenter
• Proficient in performance tuning of targets, sources, mappings, and SQL queries
• Conceptually good in PL/SQL, functions, writing complex SQLs, and creating/exposing views/materialized views
• Strong in UNIX commands and scripting
• Good in MuleSoft integration
• Self-managed and proactive communicator
• Experience with Unix scripts and Autosys
• Previous experience in a data warehouse project (plus)
• Python programming
• Tableau/reporting experience
• Experience working with MuleSoft and other API technologies
• Familiarity with source control repositories (SVN/BitBucket) and continuous build integration tools (IBM UBuild/Jenkins, IBM UDeploy/Ansible)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

Pay

$54.00 - $64.62 per hour
