Info Tech Programmer Analyst 12-MILogin Senior Developer
About the role
This position functions as the senior level developer responsible for new functionality development and maintaining existing code for the Enterprise Identity and Access Management (EIAM) solution for the State of Michigan (SOM) branded as “MiLogin”. The senior level developer supports Agile development methodologies in accordance with State policies and procedures for the system architecture of MiLogin, including security, vulnerability scanning, testing, configuration and release management, performance management, high availability, disaster recovery, and other service delivery components and functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide support of Agile development methodologies in accordance with State policies and procedures for the system architecture of MiLogin, including security, vulnerability scanning, testing, configuration and release management, performance management, high availability, disaster recovery, and other service delivery components and functions.
- Develop and maintain new functionality for all MiLogin portals providing application authentication services.
- Support the implementation of MiLogin solution security, vulnerability scanning, testing, configuration and release management, performance management, high availability, disaster recovery and other service delivery components and functions.
- Ensure compliance with State policies and procedures for the system architecture of MiLogin.
Requirements
- Education: Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
- Experience: Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
Qualifications
- Experience in software and application development.
- Experience in performing system administration role, including operating system (OS) support or IT infrastructure components support.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of security, vulnerability scanning, testing, configuration and release management, performance management, high availability, disaster recovery, and other service delivery components and functions.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and platforms.
