About the role

NYP/Methodist Hospital is seeking an experienced Infectious Disease physician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship
• Manage complex cases in collaboration with other specialists
• Participate in hospital-wide infection control initiatives
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Contribute to research and quality improvement projects

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases
• At least 3 years of post-residency experience in an academic or community setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
