Infectious Disease Physician - Locum Tenens

Overview This role is for an Infectious Disease Physician providing inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital setting. The physician will handle approximately 25 adult inpatient consultations daily and participate in two half-day clinics per week, managing cases such as IV antibiotic therapy and Hepatitis C treatment. They will supervise one on-site nurse practitioner in both inpatient and clinic environments. The position requires board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease (ABIM or AOA), a Kentucky medical license or IMLC, and at least 2 years of experience. No call duties are involved. The clinician will work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include managing adult patients, supervising clinical staff, and providing consultative services. Credentialing typically takes 60 days, with temporary privileges available, and support is provided for a seamless onboarding process.
