About the Role

Part-time Infectious Disease Physician position offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
  • Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
  • Perform clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
  • W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM), 4–5 days per week, ~45-hour work week.
  • Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (flexible scheduling).
  • No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.

Training & Support

  • Paid training during onboarding.
