About the Role
Part-time Infectious Disease Physician position with a national wound physician group, offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Clinical documentation is completed at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship is available).
Schedule
- Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part-time available.
- Part-time role: minimum of 3 days per week.
- Full-time role: 4 - 5 days per week, routinely a 45-hour work week.
Training & Development
- Paid training provided during onboarding.
- 6-month wound care fellowship included.
Pay
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
