Infectious Disease Physician

Responsibilities

Provide a balanced mix of inpatient consults (75%) and outpatient care (25%), manage comprehensive, high-acuity cases, and support telehealth follow-ups. Participate in a collaborative team of 3 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, with opportunities for teaching and service expansion.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong clinical expertise in infectious disease, ability to handle high-acuity cases, and interest in teaching and telehealth integration. Familiarity with electronic medical records (Epic preferred) is advantageous.

Key Duties

Support the only Infectious Disease clinic in the county, contribute to service growth, and maintain a manageable patient volume within a community-oriented setting. Engage in future service expansion including telehealth and outpatient care growth.
