Role: Infection Preventionist RN
Responsibilities
- Lead the infection control program by conducting surveillance and analyzing infection trends.
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure resident and staff safety.
- Partner with nursing, rehab, and medical teams to ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, and state guidelines.
- Educate staff on infection prevention protocols and lead audits to maintain standards.
- Support outbreak management efforts and promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with surveillance, data analysis, and outbreak management.
- Commitment to resident-centered care and safety.
