Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN Vasona Creek Healthcare Compensation: $90K-$95K Status: Full-Time, Benefitted Position Overview Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN to join our team. This full-time, benefitted position is responsible for leading and maintaining an effective infection prevention and control program to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the facility's Infection Prevention & Control ProgramMonitor, investigate, track, and report infections per CDC, state, and federal guidelinesEducate and train staff on infection prevention policies and best practicesConduct audits, surveillance, and risk assessments; analyze trends and outcomesCollaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teamsPrepare and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and surveysEnsure adherence to OSHA, CDC, and public health standards Qualifications Active LVN license in good standingInfection Prevention experience in skilled nursing or healthcare preferredKnowledge of CDC guidelines, NHSN reporting, and regulatory requirementsStrong organizational, communication, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively Compensation & Benefits Starting at $46/hour, dependent on experienceFull medical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off (PTO) and holidays401(k) or retirement plan options (if applicable)Supportive leadership and team-oriented culture Apply Today Join Vasona Creek Healthcare and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care through strong infection prevention practices.
