Responsibilities
Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Pierre by providing education to staff and assisting with the development, implementation and enforcement of infection control policies and procedures, identifying, controlling, and preventing outbreaks of infection in the facility, collecting and analyzing infection control data and acting as an infection control resource for employees, residents, and their family members.
Requirements
To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
- As a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
- An unencumbered State of South Dakota RN license.
- C.P.R. Certification.
- Five (5) years of experience as a R.N.
- One (1) year of experience in an infection control position (preference).
