About the role
Responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection control; rounding in the Operating Room and SPD area; and developing policies and procedures to ensure rigorous infection control standards that meet OSHA, Public Health Department, and Center for Disease Control requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Six or more years of nursing experience
- Four or more years of Infection Control experience
- BLS certification
- TB certification
- Infection Control certification
