About the role
The Early Head Start Lead Teacher will lead a classroom serving infants and toddlers ages 0–3, focusing on the most critical years of development. The role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally responsive environment, implementing curriculum aligned with Head Start standards, guiding daily routines, and individualizing care to meet each child’s unique needs. Additionally, the teacher will mentor support staff, model best practices in infant-toddler care, and build strong partnerships with families.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid Ohio Early Childhood Professional Certification (ECP)
- Experience working with infants and toddlers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and colleagues
Qualifications
- Passing background check
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Knowledge of Head Start program requirements
