About the role

Join us as we support early childhood education programs across the country to create positive outcomes for the children and families served.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with another Teacher(s), Family Members and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
• Gain valuable experience and professional growth as an Early Childhood Educator.
• Implement provided curriculum and complete child assessments.
• Support an age-appropriate learning environment.
• Meet all children's needs through effective practices in CLASS™ teacher-child interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to foster a supportive community for children and families.

Requirements

• The commitment and passion to work with children of ages 0-3.
• An Infant/Toddler CDA OR an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with at least 120 training hours (nine credits) in Infant/Toddler content.
• The ability to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
• An eagerness to adopt our values: Data-informed Learning, Transparent & Open Communication, Growth Mindset, Dismantling Inequities, and Caring Teams & Community.

Qualifications

• Provisionally qualified candidates must obtain their Infant/Toddler CDA within one year of becoming an Early Head Start Teacher if they meet state-required minimum qualifications for an Infant/Toddler teacher.
