Infant/Toddler Teacher

What you would be doing:

• Providing a nurturing setting for infants and toddlers
• Engaging skills and imagination in creating learning centers
• Partnering with co-teachers to develop and implement best practices
• Creating a warm and welcoming environment
• Encouraging preschoolers to engage, discover, and learn to solve problems
• Collaborating with parents and families
• Implementing day-to-day activities with the Lead Teacher in the infant and toddler classrooms

What we will expect of you:

• Education: One of the following required:
  • CDA
  • Two courses in Infant/Toddler Child Development
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Gateways level 2 preferred
  • Don't have these courses? OHU will assist in obtaining them!
• Experience: Minimum of two years of professional experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred

Pay Range:

$19.25 per hour
