About This Role
Goffstown Creative Kids is seeking a Lead or Associate Teacher for their Infant Classroom. Ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, a genuine passion for teaching, and at least 3 credits in Child Growth & Development or 9 credits in Early Childhood Education, including 3 credits in Child Growth & Development or 3 credits in an education course, along with 1500 hours of work experience or successful completion of a 2-year vocational course.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care to children in the infant classroom and implement educational curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices.
- Develop and implement individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents through regular discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment, adhering to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate records, forms, and files in a timely and organized manner.
- Develop and implement a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 credits in Child Growth & Development or 9 credits in Early Childhood Education, including 3 credits in Child Growth & Development or 3 credits in an education course, along with 1500 hours of work experience or successful completion of a 2-year vocational course.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
