About This Role
Infant Teacher – Help Build Amazing Little Brains!
Warning: This job may include baby giggles, first words, spontaneous dance parties, and becoming someone’s favorite person.
What You'll Do
- Create a warm, loving, and engaging classroom environment
- Create weekly lesson plans that encourage brain development and stimulating activities
- Singing songs and teaching rhymes
- Talking to children throughout the day to stimulate language development
- Rock children to sleep and nurture them
- Feeding children and practicing self help skills
- Follow all state rules and regulations
- Maintain great relationships with other staff
- Take direction well from the administrative team
- Learn the rules and regulations from Bright from the Start
Who We're Looking For
- Someone who loves working with infants and toddlers
- Patient, caring, dependable, and positive
- Excellent communication skills
- Team Player who enjoys collaborating with others
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a school or childcare setting or a church related nursery setting
- CPR / First Aid
Requirements
- 2 year degree is preferred but experience matters, so talk to us about what you have to offer!
