Infant Teacher

About This Role

A Child's Place is a private non-profit NAEYC accredited Child Care Center serving children 6 weeks-5 years old. We are looking for an experienced, caring, and dependable teacher who exudes a passion for teaching young children. This is a full-time teaching position. This position is M-F, 40 hours a week with a rotating schedule of 8:00-4:00, 9:00-5:00, or 10:00-6:00. You must have at least 1 year of teaching experience and a CDA or higher in ECE. Strong communication skills, team teaching experience, and relevant references are required. Competitive salary based on experience and education. Benefits are available.

Job Responsibilities

• Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Plan and implement age appropriate activities.
• Communicate with families and co-teachers.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working with infants
• CDA or higher
• Knowledge of the CTELDS and DOTS
• Passionate about teaching young children
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team teaching environment
