You'll lead an Infant classroom that combines individualized care with meaningful early learning experiences while building strong relationships with children, families, and your teaching team. Key Responsibilities Lead daily Infant classroom routines and learning experiencesProvide responsive, individualized care based on each child's needsSupport feeding, diapering, sleep, tummy time, and developmental routinesImplement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. CurriculumEngage infants through sensory exploration, language, music, movement, and playObserve and document children's development and milestonesGuide and collaborate with Assistant TeachersBuild trusting relationships and communicate regularly with familiesMaintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and organized classroomFollow New York licensing and center requirements Qualifications Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification pathways: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related qualifying fieldAssociate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related qualifying fieldCurrent CDA credentialHigh school diploma or equivalent plus at least 5 years of qualifying early childhood experience Additionally: Professional Infant classroom experience strongly preferredLead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of infant development and responsive caregivingPatient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborativeMust meet applicable New York licensing requirements for the position What We Offer $20-$23 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsFull-time Monday-Friday scheduleHealth, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employeesPaid time offPaid training and professional developmentEmployee childcare discountCareer growth and advancement opportunities Apply today to join The Learning Experience - Tuckahoe and help give our youngest learners an exceptional start.
