About the role
The Early Care & Education program in North Richland Hills, TX is seeking an experienced Infant Lead Teacher to lead our infant care team. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of infant caregivers, providing daily care and supervision to infants aged 0-12 months.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Assess each child's developmental progress and communicate with parents regarding their child's growth and learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of daily activities and observations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience leading a team and managing a classroom.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
