About the role
Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider's order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery.
Responsibilities
- Performs inventory
- Completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules
- Operates feeding preparation equipment
- Maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area
- Performs quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience as an Infant Feeding Prep Tech
- Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology
