Infant Assistant Teacher

Kids N Fitness North is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers to support our Infant classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience (preferred)

Schedule

Monday – Friday, full‑time, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Compensation

$17 per hour; based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in line with the center’s philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements as necessary.
• Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
• Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lb and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
