About the role

Little Sprouts – Hingham is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join their team. This position is full-time and requires on-site work.

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in creating a safe and nurturing environment for infants
  • Assist with daily infant care including feeding, diapering, and monitoring health
  • Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least one year of relevant experience working with infants
  • Valid Massachusetts Early Education and Development License (EEDDL)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience with infant development and care
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
