About the role
Little Sprouts – Hingham is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join their team. This position is full-time and requires on-site work.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in creating a safe and nurturing environment for infants
- Assist with daily infant care including feeding, diapering, and monitoring health
- Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least one year of relevant experience working with infants
- Valid Massachusetts Early Education and Development License (EEDDL)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with infant development and care
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
