Responsibilities
- Recruitment, application review, interviewing and selection of applicants for admission to the program
- Coordination and instruction of didactic and clinical year PA students including lecture content, physical diagnosis, and procedural lab instruction
- Evaluation of student performance and providing remediation as needed
- Serving as an active member of program, department, and university committees
- Participating in ongoing accreditation activities through program self-assessment/self-study as per ARC-PA and university standards
- Participating in the development, scheduling, and evaluation of clinical rotations
- Maintaining communication with preceptors and clinical sites; supporting student clinical placement, documentation, and compliance with ARC-PA standards
- Engaging in active service, research, and scholarship
- Continuous faculty/professional development
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program
- Master’s degree or higher in a field related to the PA profession
- Current NCCPA Certification
- Current or eligible New York State licensure
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a clinical setting as a Physician Assistant
- Interprofessional and/or simulation education experience is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, time management and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
- Minimum of one year of experience in a PA program (*preferred)
- Preference to candidates who demonstrate scholarship (e.g., publications, national presentations) and active participation in community and/or professional organizations

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $97,500 - $110,000.
