Industrial Wastewater Program Lead - Oil, Gas and Chemicals Practice
About the role
HDR is seeking an Industrial Wastewater (IWW) Program Lead - Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Practice. This role involves leading business development, managing projects, and providing technical leadership for complex industrial process wastewater systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development of IWW Services for our Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Practice in North America.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, pursue interviews, and support client relationship growth.
- Collaborate with other business development teams and serve as a strategic advisor on projects.
- Support the technical team in the design and execution of complex industrial process wastewater systems.
- Manage client development and project positioning as a senior process engineering advisor.
- Conduct site visits, gather relevant technical information, and support project closeout.
- Perform process design sizing, hydraulic calculations, and develop design criteria, equipment specifications, and reports.
- Create and execute QA/QC plans and lead technical teams.
- Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and installation details.
- Select, train, and manage technical personnel.
- Implement and monitor company policies and actively participate in industry conferences.
- Publish at least one technical paper annually.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of direct experience with industrial water/wastewater (W/WW) treatment systems for the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Industries.
- Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
- Commitment to quality, improvement, and HDR values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process modeling experience.
- Existing relationships with industrial clients.
- Project engineering and management experience in a consulting or EPC firm.

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. The pay range for this position in North America is $170,000 - $230,000.
