About the role
HDR is seeking an Industrial Wastewater (IWW) Program Lead - Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Practice. This role involves leading business development, managing projects, and providing technical leadership for complex industrial process wastewater systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development of IWW Services for our Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Practice in North America.
- Develop business development activities including proposal development, technical presentations, pursuit interviews, and supporting client relationships.
- Collaborate and interact with other business development teams.
- Work on strategic projects as subject matter expert or technical advisor.
- Support the technical team in understanding client needs and developing creative solutions.
- Lead the technical team in designing and executing complex industrial process wastewater systems.
- Manage project execution, including coordination with permitting authorities and oversight of project closeout.
- Provide training and support for staff on industrial process wastewater systems.
- Contribute to industry conferences and publish technical papers annually.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of direct experience with industrial water/wastewater treatment systems for the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Industries.
- A bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field.
- Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
- Commitment to quality, improvement, and HDR values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process modeling experience.
- Existing relationships with industrial clients.
- Project engineering and management experience in a consulting or EPC firm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
- Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience.
- Works cooperatively with other business class regional directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on business class efforts.

Pay Range
The expected compensation range for this position in North America is $170,000 - $230,000. The pay range varies based on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
