Industrial Technician I
Job Purpose
The Industrial Technician is an integral part of the branch’s team. This individual will work to keep all equipment in top running condition through rental inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to the equipment. This position requires a working knowledge of tools and specialized equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
What you will do...
- Safety Awareness: Understands, follows, and motivates individuals to follow the safety rules and regulations.
- Complete all paperwork and record keeping associated with repairs.
- Communicate with manager regarding service priorities and status.
- Aid with loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, on trailers or vehicles.
- Deploy to manage onsite tool projects as needed.
- Perform rental inspection on tools, light equipment, and other rental items.
- Qualified to operate, inspect, and test manual, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic powered tools.
- Perform light repairs on tools and light equipment associated with parts replacement such as fittings, or other parts which require limited diagnostics.
- Perform preventative maintenance and certification.
- Operate equipment such as a forklift, parts picker, or motor vehicle.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Able to work standing for long periods
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Multitasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals
- Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the company
- Computer skills to support entering information into systems
