Industrial Technician

About the role

This is a full-time first-shift position (Monday – Friday) from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to meet project specifications.
• Fabricate plastic and metal components for pump station assembly and installation.
• Assemble, install, and repair PVC, ductile iron, and HDPE piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in the shop or at job sites.
• Support pump station installation, repair, and service work in the factory and in the field as needed.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts safely and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with the Production Manager and team members to address issues and keep work moving.
• Meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Take on other related duties as needed to support production and installation work.

Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is strongly preferred.
• Experience with lift stations or pump systems is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to safe, quality work.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when required.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing 25 to 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform welding and other repetitive manual tasks for extended periods.
