About the role

Roanoke-Chowan Community College is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach courses within various subject areas, including DRF, BPR, MEC, ELC, ATR, HYD, ISC, and MNT, both in-person and online.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and orderly learning environment
• Grade assignments and provide timely feedback
• Counsel students on their grades and progress
• Guide, manage, and facilitate classes effectively
• Develop and design course materials and curricula
• Use assessment techniques to enhance learning and teaching
• Maintain attendance and academic records, including syllabi
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and students
• Complete mandatory training as assigned

Requirements

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance, industrial systems, or mechatronics
• At least 2 years of work experience in the field

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be a subject matter expert, a self-starter, and a team player willing to take on additional duties as assigned.
