Industrial Service & Repair Manager

What You'll Do:

- Manage day-to-day shop operations for the repair and assembly of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, electric motors, and related rotating equipment - Meet or exceed Monthly, quarterly, and annual Repair department Revenue, Profit, and Safety targets. - Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations - Monitor workflow, capacity planning, and labor utilization - Ensure jobs move efficiently from teardown through inspection, machining, rebuild, testing, and final QC - Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions - Supervise shop foremen, lead technicians, and production staff - Conduct performance evaluations and coaching - Enforce accountability, productivity, and workmanship standards - Manage labor efficiency and productivity metrics - Monitor shop costs including overtime, materials, and rework - Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manpower and equipment needs - Support margin improvement initiatives - Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

- Strong interest in and ability to build and maintain Teams and Team Work - 5+ years of experience in pump, motor, or rotating equipment repair environment - 3+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience - Strong understanding of mechanical repair processes, motor rewinds, machining, and testing - Familiarity with equipment BOMs, prints, SWIs and SOPs - Willingness to enforce shop safety standards and follow OSHA regulations - Strong organizational skills using MS Office, Adobe, and PowerPoint software - Proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking software - Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment - Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions
