Industrial Security Officer

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as an Industrial Security Officer at GDIT. Enable the success of critical government missions and grow a meaningful career in Security Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own your opportunity to serve as a critical component of our nation's safety and security by protecting the country from threats.
• Work with large buildings containing multiple SCIFs.
• Apply working knowledge of ICD 705 and upcoming 705-2.
• Decommission and accredit SCIF space.
• Utilize REMOTE Link and CCURE systems.
• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Security Protection Plans (SPPs).
• Manage large projects.
• Perform administrative tasks with strong organization and communication skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Physical Access Control Systems, Physical Security Assessments, Physical Security Systems, Security Operations, and Security Policies.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• US citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• 8+ years of related experience.

Schedule

• Hybrid: 1 day a week onsite, 4 days a week remote.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
• Travel required: Less than 10%.
• Work location: USA MD Annapolis Junction.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
